The Barnhouse is a wonderful base to explore historic Sussex and Surrey. The charming 17th Century converted barn is located just south of Haslemere, a medieval English market town. Close by is the Roman city of Chichester, with it's Regional Festival Theatre, and Goodwood, home of horse racing and vintage car revival meetings. Eight miles away, Midhurst is home to the world famous polo played at Cowdray Park. Petworth, also close by, is a beautiful market town which also hosts the magnificent 17th Century Petworth House with it's internationally important art collection. Blackdown, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is a few minutes walk from The Barnhouse.

London is within easy reach. A regular train service will take you in or out of Waterloo in 45 minutes.
